According to one of my favorite websites Inhabitat, a building in downtown Boston where construction was halted last year is being redesigned to grow Algea that will produce Bio-Fuel. If producing fuel was this pretty.. sign me up.

Rent a Bike in Montreal..
I found this on digg today, its a municipal bike rental system called Bixi
Apparently with a Credit card you can nab a bike and park it at any of the stations bixi has available in the city. Looks like the cost is $5 for 24hours canadian.

it also notes that the first 30 minutes on each trip is free.. I’m not sure how that adds up.. but what this means is .. you can bike for next to nothing in Montreal to work, have nothing to store.. and have very little footprint on the environment.
